MOSAIC FARM
Sanctuary on the Hermanus Lagoon, Western Cape |
| Mosaic perfectly blends the glories of nature with
country living and South African cuisine at its finest.
Located on the Hermanus Lagoon with breathtaking views of
the Overberg Mountains and bordering the whale watching
paradise of Walker Bay Beach. |
Woven into an ancient milkwood grove on the banks of the
Hermanus Lagoon, the Lodge provides ultimate privacy and
hospitality for fourteen guests. Stone, thatch and natural
materials from Mosaic are blended to maximize refreshing
breezes, natural light and exquisite views in a unique style
of eco-luxury. Each chalet has luxurious beds under netting,
a large romantic tub, outdoor shower and wooden viewing
deck.
Boardwalks under a canopy of trees lead to our lapa where
drinks and conversation are enjoyed by a fireplace that will
warm your soul. A heated pool overlooks a bird sanctuary
with the lagoon and mountains as a spectacular backdrop. As
evening falls, you will witness the exquisite colours of the
sun setting and the glorious expanse of the star-filled
South African sky. |
| Location sets Mosaic apart from all others! On the edge
of the Hermanus Lagoon, Mosaic Farm expands to a secluded
part of the pristine Walker Bay Nature Reserve and Beach,
the best place in the world for whale watching and embracing
the wonders of the Cape Floral Kingdom. Explore 2300 acres
and over 2 miles of lagoon frontage for bird watching,
flora, kayaking, hiking and quad bike tours. Taste the
flavor of award winning Cape wines on sundown excursions to
the beach or from our private cellar in the historic 1892
Stanford Spookhuis. |
| Mosaic is centrally located to take in area activities
such as shark-cage-diving, Klipgat Archeological Cave
(stone-age), Hermanus, wine regions of the Hemel-en-Aarde
and Walker Bay, Cape Agulhas, fishing and golf. |
