Tortilis Africa Investments will consist of a diverse portfolio
of luxury Investment lodges and ‘greenfield development’ opportunities across Southern
and East Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands. Tortilis Africa Investments provides
a platform for Investors investing into prime eco-tourism regions of Africa, to
contribute to the continued preservation of African wilderness regions, through
the growth and development of the eco-tourism sector.

The investment strategy is as follows:

Phase 1
|
(i) Initially drive investment into a number of existing operational lodges in prime
tourism regions across Southern Africa.
(ii) Develop identified new “greenfield” development projects across the region.

Phase 2
|
(i) To pursue investments into existing eco-based lodges across the Southern African
region with phase 2 including East and West Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.
(ii) To pursue new ‘Greenfield’ eco-tourism opportunities across the world.

Tortilis Africa Investments will invest by acquiring:
|
- a strategic shareholding in each lodge which will include the Management and/or
Marketing contract for each lodge; and
- a shareholding of between 30% and 100% in new ‘Greenfield’ lodges, as well as
the Management and Marketing contract for each lodge once operational.
