“Where there’s a stronger incentive to take than to make, societies fall to the
bottom”

In order for investors to invest we would like to ensure that they do so for the
right reason. It is therefore imperative investors ‘buy into’ the core values that
are central to Tortilis Africa.
|
- To recognise the need to conserve, preserve and expand wilderness areas across
Africa;
- To recognise that the primary investment would go toward sustainable
eco-tourism development projects;
- To ensure that each development has the potential
to contribute to social and economic upliftment of communities neighbouring these
wilderness areas;
- To ensure that the best possible environmental practices and
standards are met with minimal impact to each area. This must extend to practices
within each of the relevant communities;
-
To contribute to renewal of degraded environments including water courses and rivers,
forests, wetlands, coastal and marine environments, savannah and bushveld regions.
